On Monday, July 3rd, the youngsters from VSO De Brug show what they learned during the series of workshops ‘everyone is an artist’. This trajectory, initiated by Dirk Monsma, former principal of SKVR, helps young people for whom acces to art is not that evident, to connect with different art forms and art institutions in Rotterdam.
The young students receive 3 lessons on 4 different cultural hotspots in different art forms: movement theatre at Theater Babel Rotterdam, music at SKVR, dance at Misiconi Dance Company and theatre at Theater Hofplein.
During the final performance, parents and teachers of the youngsters were invited to a delicious (vegetarian) meal at Theater Babel Rotterdam, while the young people showed what they learned in these workshops.
